Job Description
As an Electrical Tester, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and testing industrial transformers. Your expertise will be vital in reading electrical prints, testing electrical components, and configuring power supplies and generators. You'll also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical problems and conducting dielectric and controls testing on voltages while working with blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and test industrial transformers.
- Read and interpret electrical prints.
- Test electrical components and configure power supplies and generators.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Conduct dielectric and controls testing on voltages.
- Work with blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in inspection and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to use multimeters and micrometers.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with high voltage systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in electrical maintenance.
- Familiarity with testing oil quality.
- Military experience, especially avionics techs, is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work weekends with time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled setting where you'll be on your feet, climbing stairs, and working on transformers. The role requires flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, and the ability to test controls within boxes and dielectric high voltage transformers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
