Job Description
As a Research Associate III, you will conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support ongoing projects. You will exercise your technical expertise and discretion in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments that align with project strategies. This role involves preparing technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses, as well as presenting and discussing experimental results within the department and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Design a wide range of experimental protocols.
- Execute bench experiments, make detailed observations, and analyze data.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
- Maintain complete and accurate records.
- Identify and implement improvements to work processes and laboratory environment.
- Participate in cross-functional technical teams for failure investigation or core team projects.
- Train others in areas of expertise.
- Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.
- Prepare and present experimental procedures and results in group and project teams.
- Monitor work to ensure quality and promote Quality First Time.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in science.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in a wide range of experimental techniques and their applications.
- Proficiency in searching scientific literature for general and specific information.
- Skilled with word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of scientific principles, pathology, and development processes.
- Hands-on wet lab skills required.
- Adaptability to move between projects and tasks.

The role is based onsite at the Oro Valley site, located just north of Tucson, surrounded by the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Sonoran Desert. This is a Contract position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
