Job Summary:
Our cllient is seeking a dedicated Plate Maker to support its production team in Carrollton. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the quality and accuracy of print materials by preparing and handling printing plates. Ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and comfort working with chemicals and tools in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process printing plates using chemicals and precision tools
- Maintain accurate records of plate production and quality checks
- Operate cutting tools and other equipment with care and precision
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemicals
- Ensure all materials meet production specifications and timelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plate-making area
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a hands-on, production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Comfort working with chemicals and manual tools
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience in plate making, prepress, or flexographic printing
- Familiarity with industrial safety procedures or chemical handling
- Exposure to packaging or print manufacturing environments
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and follow set procedures
- Comfortable handling chemicals and sharp tools
Preferred Skills:
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Organizational skills for record keeping and workflow tracking
- Familiarity with safety and material handling protocols
