Production Operator Compensation

• The pay for this position is $29.00 per hour (+ $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Production Operator Highlights

• This position is a 4-month contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• 2nd shift position
• Physical fit testing is required at Penn Med, Medical Arts Pavilion, Plainsboro, NJ

Production Operator Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and pack orders in respective containers according to instructions
• Operate scales, pumps, filters, and computer systems
• Follow company labeling procedures for packing and repacking
• Take samples from raw materials and finished products per Quality Control requirements
• Safely operate forklift, drum handling equipment, and Big Joe Lift
• Inspect all containers prior to filling
• Properly store materials following storage requirements (racks, freezers, cold/hot boxes)

Production Operator Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum two years’ experience in a chemical, food, or perfumery manufacturing facility
• Minimum two years’ experience mixing and handling chemicals against a recipe
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Must pass respirator fit test as required by OSHA
• Ability to stand 60–90% of the day
• Ability to frequently lift, move, pull, and push up to 50 lbs
• Required to wear PPE
• Ability to work in a facility with limited temperature control
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
