Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on mechanical and electrical experience, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery, systems, and facility equipment
- Work on motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, PLC-controlled machinery, and various production systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, work orders, and equipment manuals
- Install, align, assemble, dismantle, and overhaul industrial machinery and components
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend long-term corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS system, including work orders, parts usage, and maintenance logs
- Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical repair, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred) is a plus
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in industrial environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control systems
- Basic understanding of HVAC, boilers, or refrigeration (if applicable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
