Great opportunity to work on a multi-year REMOTE project for a leading organization in the Houston area. Prefer Houston based candidates but will consider Austin and Dallas based candidates.


Summary:


The Machine Learning Engineer will streamline overall data science analysis. The Machine Learning Engineer will focus on code geared to deploying key product campaigns.

Manage, build and develop production-ready advanced analytics in the areas of predictive modeling, cluster analysis, and data labeling. Role is designed to ultimately improve business planning, decision-making, and performance with data-driven insights.


Duties:

  • Manage data science projects from start to finish and understanding of the business problem to solve.
  • Coordinate the ETL process, test/train work, and ultimately finalizing a working predictive model that pushes scores/results to a data warehouse, dashboard, or CRM.
  • Work with Python and data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, TextBlob, and Matplotlib.
  • Work with Alteryx advanced data prep program to disseminate large data sets.
  • Build machine learning models with natural language processing (NLP) and its application in extracting and categorizing information from unstructured data.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with advanced analytics work In Python analytics, and Python development.
  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and its application in extracting and categorizing information from unstructured data.
  • Must have excel pivot tables experience
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and business teammates to understand needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.
  • Ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.


Education:

  • Master of Science in Data Science preferred, and/or bachelor’s in data science, MIS, Technology, or related field.
