Sacon is seeking an experienced construction project manager to plan and supervise commercial construction projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will organize and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate for this position is organized and prompt with strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
The Project Manager must be well-versed in construction procedures and policies, and able to coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct construction projects and workers while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations
- Set and follow project timelines, and ensure each project is completed on time with efficiency and quality
- Coach and support team members with tasks assigned
- Coordinate construction team and subcontractors to meet contractual conditions of performance
- Monitor project deliverables, obtain permits and licenses from proper authorities
- Evaluate progress of each project and prepare detailed reports in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Experience in construction project management, preferably 3-5 years, *experience in commercial construction is a requirement
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen in project planning, leadership and management of team members
- Familiarity with health and safety standards
- Prompt and dependable, a team-player with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient with Excel, email and text/phone communications
- Strong verbal and written skills

This is a full-time position. 40hrs/wk. - Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm,
Driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Must be willing to submit to random drug testing.
