Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler where you will play a crucial role in either the assembly or mulling department. In the assembly department, you will be responsible for placing components and weather stripping into windows, ensuring a tight seal with the use of small hand tools. In the mulling department, you will construct wooden frames around windows, preparing them for installation in homes using power tools and nail guns.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and apply weather stripping to windows.
- Ensure seals are tight and secure using small hand tools.
- Construct wooden frames for windows using power tools and nail guns.
- Stand for a 10-hour shift in an assembly line or independently in the mulling department.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Experience with a tape measure.
- 6+ months of experience in assembly, construction, landscaping, packaging, or general labor.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or industrial assembly is beneficial.
- Ability to read a tape measure is a plus.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 6:30am to 5:00pm or 5:00pm to 3:30am, Monday through Friday. Employees must be prepared to work Fridays. The workplace requires closed-toed tennis shoes or work boots, with steel-toed boots not mandatory. Jeans are required, and safety glasses are provided and required. Ear protection is available but not required. Be prepared for a warm environment during summer months and stand for 10-hour shifts with two paid 15-minute breaks and an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayfield, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
