A multi-licensed Pharmacist opportunity is available with a mail order pharmacy seeking an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a 13-week contract with potential extension. This part-time role offers flexibility in scheduling based on the states in which you hold licensure, providing a unique chance to leverage your multi-state credentials in a dynamic setting.
Location:
- Alpharetta, GA (multi-state coverage)
Responsibilities:
- Assume PIC responsibilities for non-Georgia licensed pharmacies as the designated PIC for those states
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Manage state-specific pharmacy oversight in compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate schedules to fulfill required hours per state license
Schedule:
- Illinois: 32 hours/month
- Mississippi: 20 hours/week
- Louisiana: 20 hours/week
- Michigan: 5 hours/week
- Choose preferred working days to meet state hour requirements
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Georgia
- Hold active pharmacist licenses in one or more of the following states: Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Illinois
- Experience with mail order pharmacy operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
