Staffing Coordinator – Home Care
Location: Margate, FL
Compensation: $17 – $19/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

A growing private duty Home Care agency based in Margate, FL is seeking a reliable and organized Staffing Coordinator to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or home health staffing, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to manage a dynamic, fast-paced scheduling environment. The agency currently serves a census of approximately 110 clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule caregivers for private duty home care clients

  • Ensure all shifts are filled in a timely manner and aligned with client needs and care plans

  • Communicate with caregivers, clients, and families regarding assignments, changes, and updates

  • Maintain accurate records in the scheduling system and client files

  • Respond promptly to last-minute staffing changes and call-outs, including after-hours as needed

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity and quality of care

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new caregivers as needed

  • Provide outstanding customer service to both clients and field staff

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of caregivers' availability, credentials, and preferences

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations regarding staffing

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in a home care or home health staffing or scheduling role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office (knowledge of systems like ClearCare or AxisCare is a plus)

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus
