Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the compounding of medication orders
- Perform medication inventory management and stock replenishment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a laboratory setting is preferred
- Familiarity with USP 795 & 800 chapters preferred
- Proficiency in weighing with analytical balance helpful
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Requirements:
- Valid IL pharmacy technician license; CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
