Position Details
- Department/Unit: HBD - Rheumatology
- Work Shift: Day (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Salary Range: $46,220.72 - $64,709.01 ($27.00/hr. - $37.32/hr.)
Your Role
As an LPN, you will work under the guidance of our attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator to provide direct patient care and assist in various clinical functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining and accurately recording patient vital signs
- Documenting components of patient history
- Communicating openly and appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff
- Participating in in-office procedures under supervision
- Performing diagnostic CLIA waived testing
- Conducting venipuncture for lab testing
- Managing prescription call-backs within your scope of practice
- Preparing patient charts with pertinent clinical information
- Maintaining inventory and stocking patient examination rooms
- Adhering to regulatory compliance issues
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. - required
- LPN - State Licensure upon hire - required
- Previous experience in a patient care setting - preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and staff
