Gold-Eagle Cooperative in Kiester, MN is hiring a full-time Propane Service Technician who's ready to get things DONE. In this role, you'll be visiting customers' residential, commercial, and agricultural properties to assess their systems and safely complete top-notch repairs and maintenance services. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS OUR PROPANE SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
- Accurately installing and setting up new propane tanks and running gas lines in various settings
- Performing routine inspections on existing systems, identifying the source of any issues (leaks, equipment malfunctions, etc.), and completing the appropriate repairs and maintenance services
- Completing thorough safety checks and informing customers on how to safely use their system
- Answering customers' questions, addressing their concerns, making system recommendations, and providing professional customer service
- Completing and maintaining documentation like service orders, customer information, and records of your performed work
- Complying with all regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO...
Has:
- Technical knowledge of propane systems, appliances, and related equipment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license - you may need to obtain a CDL with HazMat endorsement
- Relevant propane certifications or licenses - preferred, not required
Can:
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
- Lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Comply with all safety protocols and industry regulations
