Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its expanding outpatient primary care team in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday–Friday schedule and no hospital call responsibilities. The incoming physician will work in a collaborative and well-supported practice environment, providing comprehensive primary care to adult patients. The practice emphasizes evidence-based medicine, preventive care, and a team-based approach to patient management.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult and geriatric patients.

• Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Conduct preventive health screenings, wellness visits, and health risk assessments.

• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term patient wellness.

• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Participate in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives.

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; eligible for South Carolina medical licensure.
Experience: Prior outpatient experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills; commitment to patient-centered care.
