Job Title: Assembler with Welding Experience
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $18/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble HVAC and air-handling units according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on sheet metal and structural components as needed for product assembly.
- Fit, align, and secure parts using bolts, clamps, and welding techniques.
- Inspect and verify quality of welds and assembled components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mechanical or HVAC assembly required.
- MIG and/or TIG welding experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
