Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a R&D, Senior Scientist, Pipeline working from our Pittsburgh, PA, @ Nova Place or Friendswood, TX office location, with a start date on or before July 10, 2025.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF R&D, Senior Scientist, Pipeline,
The Senior Scientist, Pipeline collaborates with R&D to evaluate and validate clinical devices and molecular biomarkers that enhance disease diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy response prediction. This role supports new test development through cross-functional planning, data interpretation from clinical studies, and creation of business cases. The Senior Scientist also contributes to scientific communications, including publications, abstracts, training materials, and external-facing content for physicians and patients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Requirements
- Master's or PhD in life sciences or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate medical writing experience in the life sciences or industry equivalent in the biotech sector.
- PhD level training in the life sciences, with a focus on oncology
- The ability to successfully communicate and teach in a complex and competitive environment.

TRAVEL
- 10% travel required.
SCHEDULE
- Monday - Friday, in-office 5 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, exempt position, working from the Pittsburgh, PA @ Nova Place office or Friendswood, TX office occasionally.
- Off-hour work will be required to facilitate communication and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 is based on Experience and Education levels.
