Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Geotechnical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil and foundation data, and designing geotechnical solutions for various projects. This role requires strong project management skills and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical site investigations and prepare reports.
  • Analyze soil properties and behavior for foundation design.
  • Develop geotechnical engineering designs and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project success.
  • Perform slope stability analysis and assess risks associated with geotechnical projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and design purposes.
  • Provide guidance on construction materials and techniques related to geotechnical work.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design principles.
  • Proficient in project management and coordination skills.
  • Experience with site investigations and geotechnical testing.
  • Familiarity with construction materials and environmental engineering practices.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
