Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is proud to partner with a leading aluminum sheet and coil manufacturer in Middlebury. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high-quality production standards within a respected, industry-leading organization.

Pay and Shift Information

• Pay: Starting at $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

• Shift: 1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect materials during production to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Review and complete claim forms for rejected or nonconforming materials

• Use precision measuring tools, including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers, to verify accuracy

• Evaluate questionable materials and make informed quality decisions

• Maintain accurate records and documentation using Microsoft Office and Outlook

• Take initiative to support continuous improvement within the quality department

Qualifications

• 5 years previous experience in quality control or quality coordination

• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
