Job Description

Melo’s Pools and Outdoors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAD/Pool Designer to join our team. This role is essential to our design and permitting process, and we’re looking for someone who can step in confidently and contribute right away. Most importantly, we are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, integrity, and a strong ability to work well with others. We are a close team that values teamwork, mutual respect, and treating others the way we would like to be treated.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce detailed pool plans and construction drawings using Auto CAD

· When needed, develop 3D pool concepts using Pool Studio

· Manage all city permitting processes from start to finish

· Work jointly with the team, our clients, engineer, and city departments a smooth and efficient product.

Compensation & Benefits

· Starting pay: $25/hour, with higher rates based on experience

· Significant incentives for every approved city application (up to $25,000 in performance pay)

· Health insurance, with $150 of the monthly premium covered by the company

· Bonus payments based on client reviews

· 401(k) retirement accounts

· End of the year bonus for every team member reflected on the companies year

· Our office closes every year from Christmas through New Year’s, and that entire week is fully paid

Qualifications

· Experience in Auto CAD

· Proficiency in Pool Studio software

· Strong understanding of city permits processes

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy across multiple projects
