Role Overview

As a CNC Programmer, you’ll play a key role in creating accurate, efficient programs for advanced machining operations. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineers and machinists to ensure top-quality production.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for multiple machining centers using CAD/CAM tools such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks.
  • Design toolpaths, fixtures, and cutting strategies to maximize precision and productivity.
  • Inspect machined components using standard measurement tools to confirm compliance with specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to produce accurate programs.
  • Work closely with machinists and engineers to improve processes and resolve issues.
  • Maintain documentation for programming changes, tooling updates, and setup instructions.
  • Troubleshoot programming or machining problems to reduce downtime.
  • Review production plans to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience (preferred).
  • At least 4 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, and machining principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Mastercam and other CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience programming multi-axis mills and lathes.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions in English.

Work Environment

Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

You’ll work in a modern manufacturing facility alongside a team of over 100 professionals dedicated to excellence. Expect exposure to cutting-edge technology in a collaborative setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $100000.00/yr.
