Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher with at least 2 years of experience in concrete finishing. The successful candidate will work primarily on commercial construction sites, expertly pouring and leveling concrete using both hand and power tools such as trowels, screeds, and walk-behind equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform concrete finishing on commercial construction sites.
- Pour and level concrete using hand and power trowels, screeds, and other equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate concrete placement.
- Manage edges and corners effectively to maintain quality and precision.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Proficient in using trowels, screeds, and power trowels.
- Experience with flat work and managing concrete finishes.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tenths.
- Good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with running power trowels and walk-behind equipment for over a year.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.

Work Environment
Work on a variety of job sites including schools, manufacturing buildings, warehouse construction, retail construction, hospitals, and apartment complexes, with a primary focus on new construction. Crews typically consist of 3-4 people, with larger projects combining crews for 6-8 team members. Typical working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility to stay later to meet project deadlines as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
