The Space Dynamics Laboratory is seeking Electrical Engineers to work on electronics boards and subsystems for satellites and space-based sensors for our military space division. The ideal candidate works well within a team, is proficient in circuit board design, testing, and debugging, and enjoys taking their designs from concept through design, testing, and launch. The Strategic & Military Space Division of SDL delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Our division is a key component of national security, providing technological solutions and expert mission support. Required Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with circuit design
  • Experience bringing up electronics in a laboratory environment
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Must be able and willing to travel occasionally

  • Experience in high reliability design for space and/or military systems
  • Understanding of radiation considerations in electronic design
  • Experience as a technical lead
  • Experience with power converters

  • FPGA programming experience
  • US Government Security Clearance

Salary Range
Level I: $67,500 - $91,500

  • 0-5 years of applicable experience and a BSOR
  • 0-3 years of applicable experience and an MS

Level II: $90,000 - $116,000

  • 5-10 years of applicable experience and a BSOR
  • 3-8 years of applicable experience and an MS OR
  • 0-4 years of applicable experience and a PHD

Level III: $115,000 – $137,000

  • 10-15 years of applicable experience and a BSOR
  • 8-13 years of applicable experience and an MS OR
  • 4-9 years of applicable experience and a PHD

This range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
