Job Description

Indepently-owned compounding and retail pharmacy located in beautiful Gulf Breeze is seeking to hire a full-time Compounding Pharmacy Technician.

The individual in this role will be responsible for preparing a wide range of non-sterile and sterile compounded medications (e.g., creams, ointments, suspensions, capsules, suppositories) according to physician prescriptions and established formulas. Sterile compounded medications (e.g., ophthalmic preparations, injectables, intravenous admixtures) also mixed in a cleanroom environment, ensuring aseptic technique and compliance with USP <797> standards.

Requirements:

• Hands on compounding experience
• Sterile and non-sterile experience desired
• Full understanding of USP 797, 800 and all other compliance standards.
