A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to lead strategic improvement projects in its production environment. This role focuses on enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability, particularly in the Mixing and Extruding departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with safety and performance goals.
- Recommend equipment modifications and oversee new installations.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, budgets, and materials.
- Collaborate with Maintenance for troubleshooting, training, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy use and improve environmental impact.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Prepare technical reports and updates to support continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to maintain high operational standards.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in PLCs, Servo systems, PC, DC/AC drives, and power distribution.
- Experience leading controls upgrades and capital improvement projects.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and techniques.
- Ability to apply emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
