What your day will look like:

• Utilize automated and manual 3D scanning hardware and inspection software for reverse engineering, fingerprinting, and full inspection applications.
• Measure sheet metal stamping/hydroformed parts, tools, welded assemblies, and laser-cut features/edge profiles.
• Support inspection needs across aerospace, automotive, military, medical, heavy machinery, and other industries.
• Perform quality and metrology activities onsite at client and offsite as required.
• Conduct 3D scanning, inspections, data exports, and reporting for assigned requests.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to review inspection and reverse engineering results.
• Maintain scanning equipment and perform routine upkeep.
• Apply 5S practices and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention procedures.
• Develop inspection templates and reports from customer-provided prints and CAD models using ZEISS Inspect software.
• Program and implement automated scanning processes with ZEISS VMR software and ScanBox automation.
• Validate, optimize, and execute automated program paths on ZEISS ScanBox systems (8160 & 6235).

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with 3D inspection software preferred (e.g., ZEISS Inspect, Polyworks, Verisurf).
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Catia, Solidworks, Unigraphics, AutoCAD).
• Experience with automated equipment (e.g., FANUC, ZEISS VMR).
• Knowledge of reverse engineering software preferred (e.g., DesignX, TEBIS, Verisurf
