Glass Installation Technician – Residential & Light Commercial

Full-time | $25–$35/hour DOE

About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Glass Installation Technician who can independently handle installations and repairs in homes and businesses. Our current team is transitioning, and we need a reliable professional who can step in and lead projects from start to finish. You'll work directly with our clients and help train newer team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and replace residential and light commercial glass (windows, doors, shower enclosures, mirrors, etc.).

• Measure, cut, and fit glass accurately on-site.

• Troubleshoot installation challenges and deliver clean, professional results.

• Communicate with customers in a friendly and respectful manner.

• Safely transport and handle glass and tools.

• Maintain a clean and organized work truck and shop area.

• Occasionally assist with shop work and glass fabrication.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on glass installation experience preferred.

• Familiarity with glass cutting, glazing, and framing.

• Ability to lift heavy glass panels (50+ lbs) and use power tools.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Ability to work independently and lead small installations.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with storefront or curtain wall systems (not required).

• Familiarity with custom glass projects or specialty installations.
