Job Title: Sorting Operator, 17.50 - 18.50 hr/ 1st Shift
Job Description
As a Production Associate, you will oversee a production line creating various fasteners for multiple automotive companies. You will ensure the quality of finished products through visual inspections and quality checks. Your role also includes preparing products for shipment, utilizing an RF scanner to track outgoing inventory, and loading boxes onto conveyors. You will perform minor maintenance on machinery and assist with other production tasks as needed, always maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the production line for fasteners.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.
- Unload hoppers and prepare boxes for shipment.
- Utilize RF scanner for inventory tracking.
- Load boxes onto the conveyor.
- Perform minor machine maintenance.
- Assist with various production tasks as required.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Skills
- General labor and production experience.
- Experience in packing and general production.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
- Experience with manufacturing operations, including machine operation and running a production line.
- Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the shift.
- Attention to detail for quality checks and inspections.
- Experience with assembly, forklift, and hand tool operations.
- Troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous material handling experience is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in an extremely clean facility with 180 employees across Ohio and Michigan sites. Ohio hosts the larger facility. Choose between 1st shift (7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm for Quality Dept. roles) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
