Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Equipment Technicians in performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting during assigned shifts.
- Monitor equipment conditions across production lines to ensure maximum uptime and consistent performance.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level leaders or engineering teams as necessary.
- Ensure proper completion of shift logs, maintenance records, and issue tracking.
- Train and coach junior technicians on best practices, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to resolve equipment-related process issues.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure shift hand-offs are well-documented and communicated across teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or technician roles in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Basic leadership skills and the ability to direct the daily work of junior staff
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and/or overtime as needed
Preferred:
- Technical certification or an associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology
- Experience in solar, semiconductor, or cleanroom environments
- Familiarity with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 lbs. for extended periods
- Comfortable working in high-noise, high-temperature manufacturing areas
- Must be able to wear PPE and follow cleanroom standards
Employment Type & Schedule:
- Full-Time, Hourly
- Shifts may include day, night, weekend, or rotating schedules, depending on operational needs.
