As a Machine Setter and Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will ensure that machines and equipment are in optimal working condition for each production day. This role involves setting up semi-automated machines to achieve maximum quality specifications, uptime, and minimal downtime. Additionally, you will perform repairs, maintain a preventative maintenance program, manage spare parts, and train operators across various equipment stations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machine setup.
- Collaborate with Operations Shifts and support running assets during personnel absences.
- Develop into a Subject Matter Expert on multiple assets.
- Provide input and coordination with the Production Manager regarding overtime and additional workdays.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in machine operation and basic knowledge of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of tool and equipment setting, maintenance, and quick changeover methods.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, and power drills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, including Excel spreadsheets and Outlook for daily use with quality data, measurements, and shift reports.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screens for digital process changeovers.
- Methodical approach to processes and systems.
- Semiconductor or cleanroom experience.
- Experience handling small microscopic materials, wool packing, and screen printing.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour workdays, and potential overtime coordinated with the Production Manager. The facility is climate-controlled and clean, requiring PPE such as gloves and occasionally a lab coat depending on the work area. No cleanroom is involved. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
