OneSparQ is looking for CNC Programmer in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Create, test, improve, and update CNC programs and related documentation for 5-axis and multi-axis machining of aerospace parts, including wing structures, tools, and inspection components.
- Program and support CNC machining centers used to manufacture metallic or composite aerospace and other complex structures.
- Partner with engineering to define machining approaches, tooling needs, fixtures, and technical requirements that support efficient manufacturing.
- Develop standards, processes, and procedures for new machines, new products, and advanced machining or inspection methods.
- Identify opportunities to improve process quality, reduce cycle time, and streamline production.
- Design and specify complex fixtures and tooling used for manufacturing or inspection.
- Work directly with customers or engineering teams to ensure part designs support efficient machining.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience programming CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in software such as SolidWorks, CATIA V5, and Vericut.
- Hands-on experience programming 5-axis CNC machines.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with long and large part manufacturing.
- Background in aerospace manufacturing.
