Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Slot Tech Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and performance of all slot machines and associated equipment. This leadership role is responsible for directly supervising Slot Tech Shift Supervisors and ensuring optimal slot machine performance through the implementation and enforcement of established policies and procedures. This role requires excellent leadership skills, critical thinking skills, troubleshooting, and a strong background in compliance with all federal, state, local laws & OSHA regulations.
Primary Duties and Essential Job Functions
- Interviews and selects candidates for hire to the Slot Technician team at Happy Valley Casino.
- Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Slot Technician department. Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Lead and organize daily tasks, maintenance, and slot projects.
- Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and providing recommendations; ensuring compliance with departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to the Director of Slot Operations.
- Assists in oversight of electronic gaming device activities for adherence to established procedures on assigned shift.
- Ensure all policies, procedures and practices are consistently followed and comply with Happy Valley Casino’s service standards, brand attributes, policies, collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Carries out the development, execution, and measurement of departmental service standards for the Slot Technician team.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to the Director of Slot Operations.
- Prepares and maintains a minimum staffing plan for the Facilities Department to ensure continuous casino operations.
- Responsible for layouts to installations of slot machines.
- Schedules for preventative maintenance of slot machines.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree (A.A) from technical school; or one to two years in Slot Technical management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gambling Program.
- Must have thorough knowledge of applicable Federal and State Law, as well as Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Regulations.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with staff & clients.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office or other equivalent software as needed.
