Certification and License Requirements:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certified\n
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certified\n
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certified\n
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification (Required)\n
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification and EFM Certification (Preferred)\n
  • Degree Accreditation on Profile or Minimum 5 Years of Experience\n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Provide specialized labor and delivery nursing care in a fast-paced 19-bed unit.\n
  • Manage high-acuity obstetric patients with complex needs, ensuring safety and comfort.\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation through Epic EMR system.\n
  • Adhere to hospital policies including specific scrub colors: Galaxy Blue and/or White.\n
  • Participate in call shifts, totaling 12 hours within each 6-week scheduling period.\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and manage high-risk obstetric scenarios.\n

What You Bring:

\n

    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, including recent travel nursing experience.\n
  • Proven ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases confidently and professionally.\n
  • Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.\n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with healthcare providers.\n
  • Flexibility to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule, including call commitments.\n
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and procedures.\n

Preferred Education & Experience:

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.\n
  • At least 2 years of recent L&D experience in a hospital setting.\n
  • Experience with Epic EMR system is a plus.\n
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in obstetric nursing.\n

  • Weekly Stipend: $1,533.00\n
  • Weekly Taxable Pay: $2,184.42\n
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
