Position: Mechanical Millwright
Location: Rome, Georgia
Pay: $28 to $32 dollars per hour (DOE)
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Per Diem: $90 per day (must meet requirements)
Certification: OSHA 10 required
Job Summary:
We’re hiring a skilled Mechanical Millwright to join our team in Rome, GA!
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery—especially in agricultural or heavy manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain conveyors, dryers, mills, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Assist with equipment setup and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Proven Millwright experience in industrial or agricultural settings.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- OSHA 10 certification or higher required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
