Qualified Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a leading food distribution company in Austin, IN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing or warehouse operations who are ready to take on a leadership role. Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations within the wareroom, ensuring smooth coordination of materials, compliance with food safety standards, and effective team performance. This position plays a key role in supporting production by driving efficiency, maintaining product integrity, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Pay:

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay Rate: Up to $62,000 annually (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily material needs (labels, shrink wrap, etc.) to support production operations.

Monitor warehouse processes and equipment to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Track product loss and waste; implement corrective measures as needed.

Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF (Levels 2 & 3) standards.

Supervise and support warehouse team members, ensuring proper line coverage and adherence to safety standards.

Create and maintain daily staffing lineups and shift schedules.

Train and develop employees on PSOPs, safety, and food quality protocols.

Maintain operational metrics for downtime, waste, changeovers, and efficiencies.

Verify equipment operation and product coding for accuracy.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety guidelines.

Support employee relations and uphold company policies and union agreements.

Perform other related duties as assigned to achieve department and company goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:

Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.

SAP knowledge within Warehouse Management.

Flexibility to support variable operational needs and schedules.

Preferred:

College degree or equivalent experience.

Strong computer proficiency (Excel, Word, ERP systems).

Intermediate math and analytical skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication abilities.

Proven leadership, problem-solving, and planning skills.
