Job Description
Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality medical components. You will start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Our production process ensures that you will be cross-trained across multiple areas, providing you with a comprehensive skill set in medical manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Operate coil winding machines to wrap coils around spindles for medical assembly processes.
- Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes 30-50% of the day.
- Comfortably perform tasks requiring both sitting and standing for extended periods.
- Inspect and deburr parts using tools such as pliers, filers, and skivs in the molding area.
- Work with microscopes and small hand tools in CEA assembly areas, following work instructions.
- Utilize laser welding machines to weld and finish small medical components.
- Operate automated presses and stamping machines in the Implantable Housings area.
- Inspect and deburr parts as needed, using microscopes up to 50% of the time.
Essential Skills
- 4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or working with small parts.
- Proficiency in using microscopes for inspection and assembly tasks.
- Experience in cleanroom environments and assembly processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical inclination is beneficial for the Implantable Housings area.
- Good hand dexterity, such as experience in sewing, is advantageous.
- Adaptability and willingness to be cross-trained in different areas.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and well-maintained facility with both cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas. Cleanroom positions require gowning with smocks, booties, hair nets, and eye protection, while non-cleanroom areas necessitate eye protection and steel-toed shoe covers. The environment is diverse, offering a balance of sitting and standing tasks, and accommodates a variety of dress codes, including hijabs and skirts with appropriate attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr.
