Job Title: Machine Operator
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift available
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fermentation Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining fermentation tanks and various food production machinery. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a GMP environment.
Pay:
1st Shift: $21.50/hr
2nd Shift: $22.75/hr
3rd Shift: $24.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery, including packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems.
- Perform sanitation duties to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Weigh and count products accurately.
- Check in and out materials with precision.
- Complete disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.
- Print labels accurately and conduct minor quality inspections of products.
- Record data of products being manufactured.
Essential Skills
- Experience in fermentation and food production.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate production machinery in a GMP environment with at least 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge and experience in LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) with at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with sanitation duties, packaging, mixing, and blending in the food industry for at least 1 year.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to record production data accurately.

Work Environment
You will work in a climate-controlled, GMP-compliant facility. The shifts are all 8 hours Mon-Fri. Overtime is voluntary, with a potential for up to 5 hours. Adherence to GMP codes is required, including wearing safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and hair and beard nets.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
