Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Responsible for working with invoices, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordination with the team’s project manager, team members, financial control personnel, administrative personnel, subcontractors, and clients.
• Facilitate planning meetings.
• Communicate progress updates through monthly reports.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with project contractual obligations, managing costs, billing rates, and identifying variances.
• Maintain organized project documentation, track progress, and manage changes.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
• Provide regular and presentations updates on project status, cost, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure project control requirements meet the established standards.
• Utilize project management and control software such as Microsoft Excel to streamline processes and data analysis, and MS products.
• Lead and support the execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects for large utility clients, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery across all project phases, from planning to completion.
• Apply strategic project planning, financial oversight, and integrated project management tools for real-time tracking and reporting.
• Engage with stakeholders, manage resources, and provide leadership and coordination for multi-site BESS installations.
• Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication, transparent reporting, and consistent delivery of project milestones.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Business Administration.
• 5 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience managing or supporting Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects for large utilities or grid operators.
• Must have expertise in utility-scale project delivery, including strategic planning, procurement, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with integrated project management platforms (e.g., PROCORE) and familiarity with regulatory and technical standards for utility-scale energy storage.
• Excellent skills in Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Able to manage resources, budgets, invoices, forecast, work plans, priorities, and project management tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills/strong leadership and time management skills.
• Proven track record of successful BESS program execution, with documented results in project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex schedules, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English).
