Job DescriptionWe are hiring an assistant manager at our Subway location in Randall, MN. Duties will include inventory, ordering, customer service, daily paperwork, staff management and training, and duties as assigned. This position also includes managing The Dipper ice cream shop that is connected to Subway. Hours would be 9am-4pm (or similar) for 4-5 days per week, mainly weekdays, but some occasional nights/weekends when necessary. As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
- Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
- Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
- Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITESEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMust be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
