Reports To: Customer and CEO
Work Location: Alexandria, VA
Clearance: Active TS/SCI (CI Scope Polygraph desired)
Summary of Duties:
The Project Manager is charged with managing government contracts. Government contracting experience is required. This individual will have full authority to act for the company on all matters pertaining to contracts and contractor personnel deliverables.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Accountable for all aspects of contract execution and manages execution of related operational activities.
- Responsible for project management operations.
- Responsible for meeting all technical, financial, and contractual requirements.
- Ensures that management processes and business systems facilitate meeting performance requirements.
- Primary Point-of-Contact.
- Manages employee timesheets, manages and tracks contract burn rates, contract modifications, contract budgets, performance schedules; and keeping contracts fully staffed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess an active TOP Secret/SCI Clearance (CI Poly desired)
- Expert knowledge of Defense and Federal contracting processes and terminology.
- Must have a minimum of four (4) years cumulative program management experience in government contracting activities.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. An advanced Degree is desirable
- Possess the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities as described above
- Must have functional computer literacy, and be proficient in common computer and network applications.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- PMP certification desired.
Working Conditions
- Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Able to walk long distances without assistance
- Noise level: moderate with distractions
