The Aquatics Manager is responsible for leading the swim school's instructional team, ensuring the highest standard of lesson quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who inspires and develops staff, models core values, and drives consistent excellence in the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, train, coach, and mentor instructors and deck staff.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

Lead by example, demonstrating the company's mission, vision, and core values daily.

Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
2. Lesson Quality & Standards

Oversee daily swim instruction and ensure adherence to curriculum standards.

Monitor lessons through observation, feedback, and evaluations to maintain excellence.

Provide ongoing training to ensure instructors are confident, consistent, and engaging.

Stay current with industry best practices and incorporate them into program delivery.
3. Customer Satisfaction

Build strong relationships with families and students by being visible and approachable.

Resolve concerns or complaints quickly and with professionalism.

Ensure that each family's experience reflects care, safety, and progress toward goals.

Implement feedback systems to measure satisfaction and adjust programs as needed.
4. Operations & Safety

Maintain compliance with safety and facility standards at all times.

Ensure equipment and teaching tools are well-maintained and available.

Collaborate with the leadership team to meet enrollment, retention, and growth goals.

Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in aquatics, swim instruction, or program management required.
