Davenergy Solutions is currently seeking an onsite full-time Construction Administrator (CM-CA) at the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC).


This is required support needed to meet the infrastructure upgrades across Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and to include work at all Atlanta-based Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, associated Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and any offsite facilities as requested by the Facility Management Service Chief or approved by the Contracting Officer or delegate.

Requirements:

  • Provides decisive guidance and direction in regard to the management of technical aspects of engineering related to building structures.

Relevant Experience

  • Responsible for the construction analysis, development, design of and the preparation of complete plans and specifications for new work and improvements.
  • Provides administration oversight and evaluation concerning all construction disciplines as they pertain to all project work.
  • Independently responsible and accountable for administration necessary in the development and completion of design projects, and review of the final contract documents.
  • Determines documentation needed based on results of a engineer risk assessment that could have a severe impact on patient care.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • The CM-CA shall be able to quickly understand and master the requirements of the local state and federal jurisdictions and the requirements of each considering the Requirements of the Project.
  • The CM-CA must possess communication, language, and software skills with the ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy.

Education

  • The CM-CA shall hold minimum of six (6) years of experience in both design and construction.
