About the Role
Our client, a well-established plastics manufacturer in Green Bay, is seeking an experienced Injection Mold Tooling Technician to join their team on a direct-hire basis. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on maintaining, repairing, and preparing injection molds and tooling used in production.
Key Responsibilities

Perform mold and die repairs, engineering changes, and preventive maintenance.

Clean, inspect, and stage injection molds for production.

Conduct insert changes, replace ejector pins, and perform light machining repairs.

Interpret blueprints, tooling drawings, and part prints.

Maintain accurate tooling records and communicate issues to engineering.

Operate manual tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders.

Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organized work area.
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in tool room or mold maintenance (plastics industry required).

Tool & Die or Mold Making background highly desired.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Experience with manual machining and mold repair equipment.

High attention to detail, quality-focused, and reliable.

Associate degree in Tool & Die or related field preferred.
