Job DescriptionJob Description Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent client in Berne, IN in the Manufacturing, printing, and distribution business. They are looking to add a Pressroom Operator to the team.
Typical Pressroom Job Description
Position Title: Pressroom Operator / Technician / Assistant
Department: Pressroom
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain printing presses (e.g., offset, digital, or flexographic).
- Set up press equipment according to job specifications.
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments to ensure consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Load paper and ink, and manage inventory of pressroom supplies.
- Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- 12 hour shifts Monday through Thursday 18 an hour.
Successful candidates will:
Have some mechanical aptitude
Be able to read measurements on a standard ruler or tape measure
Be able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Willing to work other shifts and overtime when needed
