Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in K-8th grade students within a K-12 school setting in Surprise, AZ. This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time (2 days per week) schedules to support student speech and language development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-8, addressing diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to track student growth and adjust interventions accordingly
- Provide effective therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred
- Experience working within school environments across K-8 grade levels
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a student-centered approach
