Job Summary
Our commercial construction company is seeking experienced Glaziers to perform on new and existing construction. We offer competitive pay, 401k, paid vacation, life insurance, disability insurance, and health, dental, and vision insurance. The ideal candidate must be able to work well with minimal supervision. Applicants should have relevant job experience with installation and the understanding of commercial glazing construction. Compensation will be based on experience and training can be provided if necessary.
Glazier Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to various service locations as needed
- Remove and install commercial store-front doors
- Service and troubleshoot glazing systems
- Prepare for and complete scopes of work, closely following job specifications, code requirements, and safety standards
- Document daily work activity and completion
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment in your care and ensure they are in working order at all times
- Communicate with customers, construction team, and supervisors
Glazier Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of glass types and the different materials required for glass repair and installation
- The ability to use glazier hand tools and equipment
- An understanding of company safety protocols and the ability to adhere to these standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
