Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, supportive setting and enjoys making a meaningful impact in patients’ lives.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for visits with professionalism and empathy
- Take vitals, perform injections, assist with phlebotomy and clinical procedures
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support providers during exams and coordinate patient flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Active Medical Assistant Certification required
- Prior experience in rheumatology or internal medicine preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a commitment to patient care and confidentiality
- Experience with EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient record management (NextGen a plus).
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is essential for ensuring patient safety during clinical procedures.
