Custom Trailer Painter
Are you a detail-oriented painter with a passion for craftsmanship? Our Client is looking for a Custom Trailer Painter to join their skilled team in building high-quality, made-to-order trailers.
About the Role:
As a Custom Trailer Painter, you’ll be responsible for preparing and painting trailers to meet our customers’ exact specifications. This hands-on position requires precision, an eye for color and finish, and a strong commitment to quality. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw materials into finished products that reflect the pride we put into every trailer we build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare trailer surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning
- Apply primers, paints, and finishes using spray guns and other equipment
- Match and mix paint colors according to customer specifications
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and consistency
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in industrial, trailer or custom painting (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret work orders or customer specifications
- Familiarity with paint mixing, spray techniques, and safety protocols
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
