JOB SUMMARY
Work independently and with fellow toolmakers to repair injections molds. Making components using CNC lathe, CNC Mill, EDM and grinding machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair parting line flash.

- Make ejector pins to proper length and diameter.
\n
- Disassemble & clean molds; inspect for problems.
\n
- Install changeover parts, as required
\n
- Take measurements to determine wear & proper sizes of pins, bushings, and hold dimensions
\n
- Keep records up to date, including mold tagging system.
\n
- Other duties as assigned
\n
- Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment
\n
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
\n
- Experience working with injection molds, required
\n
- Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation, preferred
\n
- Machining Certifications or technical school, preferred
\n
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Math and reading comprehension
\n
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
\n
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
\n
- Mechanical aptitude
\n
- Ability to read and understand micrometers and calibers, preferred
\n

Manufacturing environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
