Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
- Repair and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automatic cleaners.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pool systems and provide timely solutions.
- Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service updates, and any necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each pool.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in various environments.
Experience
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair various types of pool equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in pool servicing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting client needs.
