Mechanical Assembler (Union Role – 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–11:00 PM)
Manufacturing & heavy mechanical experience strongly preferred
A leading manufacturer of high-performance mechanical systems is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join its 2nd-shift production team. This role focuses on assembling, fitting, and testing mechanical and electromechanical components directly from blueprints and engineering specifications.
We are looking for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and contributing to high-precision, mission-critical products. Experience with engines, heavy equipment, machinery, or military vehicle maintenance is highly valued.
What You’ll Do

Assemble, fit, and test mechanical and light electrical assemblies using detailed blueprints and engineering drawings.

Perform mechanical setups, standard operations, and assembly processes with accuracy and consistency.

Inspect your own work, troubleshoot issues, and perform corrective adjustments to ensure quality.

Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment (calipers, gauges, scales, etc.).

Support production by safely moving, lifting, and positioning components up to 85 lbs.
What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on mechanical ability—ideal for candidates with experience maintaining engines, machinery, or heavy equipment (automotive, diesel, military vehicles, generators, etc.).

Ability to work from blueprints, oral instructions, and engineering documentation.

Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting and performing accurate, detailed work.

Familiarity with standard tools and mechanical measuring instruments.

Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working under limited supervision.
